HTC One X9 is a valued product from HTC for cost sensitive smartphone users who are in a dilemma Apple

While in search of a stylish, useful and value for money kind of smartphone, HTC One X9 is a potential option. This smartphone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch. The phone is considered to be a stylish, premium and elegant device.

Powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor the HTC One X9 comes with 3GB of RAM. This gives an valued user experience of multi tasking. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card.

The HTC One X9 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
The Display

HTC One X9’s display comes with Gorilla Glass protection. Although during the review period, I never got a chance to test this handset’s toughness factor but surely we can say that this phone has survived in jeans pockets along with coins and keys. The 5.5-inch screen is decent enough to watch videos or browse web pages.

The Design

I must say that the design look of HTC One X9 are amazingly elegant. The 5.5-inch phablet look comes in a ‘Metalmorphic’ design. The curvy and smooth touch looks are somewhat looked familiar to Apple. The curvy metal chassis with antenna strips running on the back gives a upcountry product.

HTC has tweaked the design of the BoomSound speakers and they look a little different from what we have seen earlier on previous HTC devices.

The Battery Life

The HTC One X9 runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery. It measures 153.90 x 75.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 170.00 grams. The battery strength is the most practical and important attraction of this phone for any smartphone lover.
The Hardware

HTC One X9 works on octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 processor backed by 3GB of RAM. This phone gave a nice gaming experience while being emails getting downloaded in background. The system booting time is also not bad.

I experienced three to four applications running on the phone smoothly and this X9 performed genuinely great.

Camera

HTC One X9 features a 13MP rear camera along with a front camera of 5MP.  The rear camera for me gave a not so great experience and the front camera produced average quality output. The indoor performance of the rear camera could have been better.
The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow and the same HTC Sense UI seen on the One A9 is back again here.

Value Vs Price

The premium look, the elegant design comes for a cost. This phone is priced slightly on a higher side of around 26 K in India. This leaves the phone lovers to think twice before making their decision to actually buy this.
