Considering great value for Star Wars Fans, OnePlus 5T has unveiled Star Wars limited edition smartphone. The limited edition model is on sale from December 15 at 00:01 hrs exclusively on Amazon India, OnePlus online store.
The latest edition serves the purpose of merchandise for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi franchise. In terms of hardware specifications, the Star Wars edition is similar to the Midnight Black model launched late last month.
The smartphone was announced at Bengaluru’s Comic-Con held earlier this month. The company also is giving away 10,000 complimentary tickets to Star Wars: The Last Jedi for OnePlus owners.
Complementing the look of a Stormtrooper, the OnePlus 5T limited edition model sports a white rear with ‘Star Wars’ branding at the bottom. The frame appears white, too, with a red alert slider and silver volume rocker buttons. The top and bottom bezel of the phone remains black which follows the ‘immersive viewing’ design language of the phone. The subtle 1+ logo has a dark grey finish to it, and the circular fingerprint reader matches the look of the rear panel.
While it was originally speculated that the limited edition model would be India specific, it is now confirmed that it will be available for purchase in Europe. According to the official OnePlus blog, the smartphone will be launching in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden. The phone will cost 500 Euros for the 6GB/64GB model and 560 Euros for the 8GB/128GB model, similar to the regular Midnight Black model.
To recap, the OnePlus 5T sports a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Shielding the display is Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone includes 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. The dual rear camera setup has a 16MP primary lens with f/1.7 and a secondary 20MP lens with the same aperture. The 5T supports EIS at 4K resolution. The selfie camera is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0. Backed by a non-removable 3300mAh battery, there is support for Dash Charge technology.
