Spice Money Introduces Multilingual Ojas AI for Bharat

Spice Money, a subsidiary of DiGiSPICE Technologies, announced the launch of Ojas, a human-like Agentic AI Executive for financial services that allows users to interact through natural voice and face-to-face video conversations, much like speaking to another person. Unlike traditional chatbots or voice assistants that primarily answer questions, Ojas is designed to understand what the user wants and execute the required action. The experience is deliberately simple. A Spice Money Adhikari can speak to Ojas in their preferred language, explain the problem or request naturally, and interact with an on-screen human-like AI persona. Ojas understands the intent, identifies the relevant transaction or customer context, works across approved systems, and processes, and executes the required action wherever authorised.

You talk to Ojas like a person. Ojas understands you like a person and gets the work done. This becomes particularly relevant in Bharat, where financial transactions can involve multiple screens, unfamiliar terminology, complicated processes and varying levels of digital familiarity. Instead of expecting users to understand how a financial application works, Ojas explains the application to the user.

Built on Spice Money’s proprietary ExeAI platform, Ojas combines three capabilities:

1. Human-like interaction: Users can have a face-to-face video conversation with an AI persona instead of navigating menus and forms.

2. Multilingual voice comprehension: Ojas interprets user intent in nine Indian languages, allowing individuals to effortlessly communicate their needs in their native tongue.

3. Execution: Ojas goes beyond explaining the next step. It can access approved live-system information, understand the situation and execute the required action.

The underlying proposition is captured in Spice Money’s product philosophy: “Execute. Not just inform.” Its current product material also positions Ojas as an “Executive who executes” and highlights intent understanding across nine Indian languages. For example, an Adhikari should not need to navigate several screens to understand why an AePS transaction failed. The Adhikari can simply speak to Ojas:

“Mera transaction fail kyun hua?”

Ojas can identify the transaction, understand the reason and explain it conversationally. Where an approved corrective action is available, it can execute that action as well. The same interaction model can extend to issues such as pending transactions, KYC, settlements, bill payments, collections and other financial-service journeys. This makes the technology especially relevant to Spice Money’s ecosystem of more than 16 lakh Adhikaris and merchants, many of whom serve customers across rural and semi-urban India. The objective is to remove three major barriers in digital financial services: language, digital complexity and the need to understand complicated transaction journeys.

Ojas replaces these with a much more natural interface:

See. Speak. Understand. Execute.

The ExeAI platform has been tested on live financial systems and Spice Money’s product material cites more than 5 lakh resolutions, 20,000+ autonomous actions, 50% customer-centre volume resolved and over 1 million users proven.

Commenting on the launch, Dilip Modi, Founder and CEO, Spice Money, said:

“The future of financial technology in Bharat cannot be about asking people to learn increasingly complicated applications. Technology has to become simpler and more human. With Ojas, a user can see an AI executive, speak naturally in their own language and explain what they want, just as they would to another person. Ojas understands the intent, understands the transaction context and can execute the required action. We are moving from interfaces people have to learn, to technology that learns how people naturally communicate.”

Spice Money plans to deploy Ojas across its financial-services ecosystem and subsequently make the underlying ExeAI capability available to banks, payment companies, lenders, insurers and other financial institutions.

Ojas will be showcased at Global Fintech Fest 2026 from 9–11 September at Bharat Ai Zone, Jasmine Hall 1, Jio World Convention Center
