Tissot, the famous Swiss watch brand, fortifies its ties to the world of cricket by becoming the Official Watch of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for this season. This was announced in Bangalore today at a team event. Cricket is a popular sport played in 125 countries around the world. With its newest format T20 gaining in popularity, IPL is one of the most followed cricket leagues worldwide and is ranked sixth of all sports leagues.

Commenting on the partnership RCB Chairperson, Amrit Thomas said, “I am extremely happy that RCB has chosen a sporty brand like Tissot which is known for its precision. A quality that is reflected in every player of RCB, so clearly it’s a perfect match.

In honour of the new partnership, Tissot presented all the players of the team with the Tissot PRC 200 Automatic. Just like the athletes themselves, the watch, as its name indicates, is Precise, Robust yet Classic. Furthermore, it has a water-resistance of up to 20 bar (200 m/660 ft).
