At Rs. 4,999, the Me 1+ is the most expensive device the company is currently offering in India. The phone – iVooMi Me 1+ came to ReviewStreet for a review and we have used the phone in multiple situations. Obviously, to understand the responsiveness of this device.

The Form factor of iVOoMi 1+

The plastic build of this phone comes with 2.5D glass. The old fashioned style with removable back and removable battery makes this phone lightly make it look like an old school phone. The removable back can be used to access the SIM card slots, microSD slot and the removable battery.

The left side of the device has all the keys, including power and volume keys. The headphone jack and microUSB slot are located on top of the device. The right side of the smartphone is completely clean.

Camera Quality

The 8 MP rear camera gave a wonderful experience in terms of photography output. The inbuilt apps like face detection, motion control, shake control as well as light control makes it a very viable product for photo shooting. Obviously, there are many smartphones available with better detailing with regards to camera, but in this budget this phone has impressed our review team.

The selfie shot from this camera also gave some wonderful results.

Display and User Experience

The 5-inch HD display posses some cool colours and decent viewing angles. The screen had a decent luminance rating of about 540 Lux. Having a reflective screen the display in the bright sunlight is slightly far from being giving a wow effect. The phone doesn’t have an option for adaptive brightness which could be a major issue for some of the users who often go out without checking their phone’s brightness settings.

Performance

Powered by a super quad-core Spreadtrum processor along with Mali 400 MP2 graphics and 2GB of RAM, iVooMi 1+ gives an interesting experience for day to day phone usage. This can accommodate multi tasking with few internet enabled  windows open, phone book, calling etc. But heavy gaming along with work as multi tasking might not be a great idea for this device.

Spreadtrum chipsets aren’t known to be easily compatible with newer versions of Android.

Battery

The phone sports a 3000mAh battery, which is pretty decent. Once-a-day charging for non-heavy user will be sufficient. However, if always on connected users gets an hands on to this device then the phone might have to get charged at least twice a day.

ReviewStreet Outlook

In today’s highly vibrant and competitive market, this is a appealing phone for budget minded smartphone users who are yet to get matured. This is a good phone considering the price range, but there are few areas such as auto brightness display, back cover etc. can make it even more appealing and interesting.

RATING

From ReviewStreet, this phone gets 3.8 from 5 Stars.

  1. 3. Hi! I was looking for a smartphone around 4000-5000 rupees and I am really happy I found Me1+. I thought I might have to compromise on one or two features, but Me1+ has everything I wanted. Most of us have already discussed the specifications in this thread, so I will talk more about the performance. The phone hasn’t given me any problem at all till now. The pictures clicked by the 5 MP cameras are really nice and I am really impressed by the battery backup. The fast charge feature on a Rs. 4999 phone is really surprising and I simply love this feature. Go ahead guys, buy this phone.
