BenQ, a global leader in display innovation, has announced the launch of its flagship MA270S 5K monitor—an addition to its MA Series that sets a new standard for Mac-focused display experiences. As the creator economy continues to expand and Mac usage rises across design, video, and development communities, the need for displays that truly complement the Mac experience has become increasingly important. With the MA270S, BenQ introduces a monitor designed specifically to bridge gaps in color accuracy, clarity, and workflow integration, positioning it as a seamless extension of the Mac ecosystem.
Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India, stated that while BenQ’s previous glossy and matte models laid a strong foundation for Mac-compatible displays, the MA270S takes things further by redefining Mac-first displays. He emphasized that the new monitor aligns color, performance, and user experience with the way creators work, transforming the display from a simple accessory into an essential part of the Mac setup.
A New Benchmark in Visual Precision: 5K Designed for Mac Creators
At its core, the MA270S features a 5K resolution (5120 × 2880) with 218 pixels per inch, delivering exceptional clarity comparable to—and in some workflows exceeding—the native Mac display. This high level of detail is especially valuable for professionals working with complex designs, high-resolution video editing, and precise visual tasks. The monitor also offers 99% P3 color coverage and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, ensuring accurate color reproduction and addressing common issues of inconsistency between Mac devices and external displays. A 70Hz refresh rate further enhances the experience with smoother motion and more responsive on-screen interactions.
Unlike standard monitors adapted for Mac use, the MA270S is built to function like a native Mac display. Its color calibration, brightness behavior, and overall performance are aligned with macOS standards. With BenQ Display Pilot 2 software, users benefit from features such as automatic color profile syncing, brightness and volume control through the Mac keyboard, advanced screen management, Auto Pivot, and multi-screen control—allowing the display to adapt to the user rather than requiring adjustments from them.
The MA270S is also designed for modern, multi-device workflows. It includes Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with up to 96W power delivery, enabling users to connect, charge, and transfer data using a single cable for a clean setup. The monitor supports daisy chaining for dual 5K displays, making it suitable for expanded workspaces such as complex editing timelines or multi-window coding environments. It also serves as a connectivity hub with HDMI and USB-C ports, while Smart KVM allows users to switch seamlessly between multiple systems using one keyboard and mouse.
In terms of design, the MA270S features a refined look with a Nano Gloss Panel that enhances contrast and depth while maintaining clarity from different viewing angles. Its ergonomic stand offers height adjustment up to 150mm, along with tilt, swivel, and pivot options, ensuring comfort during extended use.
With the MA270S, BenQ is moving beyond simply offering compatible displays and is instead focusing on creating a Mac-optimized display ecosystem. As creative workflows become more complex and visually demanding, the MA Series aims to provide creators with precision, consistency, and seamless integration. This launch highlights BenQ’s commitment to developing technology that not only delivers strong performance but also aligns intuitively with how modern creators work.
The BenQ MA270S 5K Nano Gloss Monitor is now available across major IT and gadget retail stores in India, as well as on leading e-commerce platforms, at a price of INR 94,998.
